Successful sellers of items on Old Iron Auction will be billed for commissions due on either weekly or monthly basis depending on volume and other factors. You are required, under the terms of the seller's agreement and North Carolina State Law to pay this amount. Please see our Seller's Agreement for more details on commission structures.
SHIPPING COSTS:
Unless otherwise stated in the item description, shipping costs will be paid by the Buyer.
RESERVES:
The Seller has the option of placing a "Reserve" or "Minimum Bid" on the item being offered for sale. Sellers are cautioned to not place unrealistic or too high of a Reserve, since this will usually result in either no bids received or a "No Sale", in other words, a waste of time to all. Sellers are also cautioned against using this auction as a means of appraising the value of an item. The best method of appraising an item it to place it for "Absolute Sale", and the final selling price will show the value of the item.
CHANGING THE RESERVE:
The Seller may change the Reserve price at any time before the Auction closes. If the Auction closes, and the Reserve price has not been met, the Seller has the one-time option of lowering the Reserve, and extending the Auction for another period. If the new Reserve price is not met, we reserve the right to withdraw the item from the auction If the Seller wishes to still try to sell the item, the item may be re-submitted as a new auction item with a new reserve, and a new closing date.
DELETING OR CHANGING ITEMS OR BIDS:
You may delete or change any bid, and items, provided the item in question has not closed. Contact us for assistance in this task.
