Here are a few items sellers need to be aware of when selling items through Old Iron Auction:
CONTRACT FOR AUCTION SERVICES:
Since this auction is conducted under the auction licensing rules and regulations of the State of North Carolina; a state that requires auctioneers to provide a structured, legally binding agreement between the seller and the auctioneer. ITEM DESCRIPTION:
In order to sell your item, it is incumbent on you, the Seller, to fully and completely describe the item in as much and clear detail as possible. To avoid problems with the completion of the sale or return of the item and canceling the sale, your item description should be honest and accurate in detail. If you are aware of any faults or problems with the item, be honest and describe the condition accurately. Also include in the Item Description your general location, i.e., Southeast PA, Western Ohio, 50 miles from Baltimore, MD, etc., to enable the Bidders to estimate the distance between the Bidder and Seller, so that the Bidder will have an idea of the shipping distance and costs involved, or perhaps give the Bidder the option of personal pick up of the item.
